You are a manager — you run day-to-day execution for a team or squad and translate strategy into accountable work.
At a glance
- Typical title: Team lead, sales manager, product manager, operations manager
- Department scope: Your department’s KPIs, initiatives, and weekly updates
- Sidebar highlights: Weekly updates, KPIs, Initiatives, Dashboard, Action items, Goals
Monday morning
You open the dashboard filtered to your department (when available) for a quick health read: KPI on-track counts, initiative status, and recent weekly updates.
You review weekly updates submitted since Friday. You note teams that have not posted yet and nudge contributors before the leadership readout.
You scan initiatives that are at risk or off track and decide what needs a status change, an owner conversation, or an action item.
Midweek execution
You update KPI actuals for metrics your team owns — manual entry or via your company’s integration. Stale KPIs weaken Executive Briefings and AI Summary.
You create or edit initiatives when new work is approved, linking them to the KPIs they should influence and to goals where applicable.
After standups, you capture follow-ups as action items with owners and due dates instead of leaving them in chat.
You use comments on initiative pages for async discussion with the team.
Weekly rhythm
You ensure your department’s weekly update is submitted on time — either you write it or a delegate does. The update should reference initiative movement and KPI impact, not only activity.
Before executive-facing meetings, you confirm KPI actuals are current and initiative health statuses reflect reality.
